Plastic Surgery Continues to Grow in Popularity

There was a three percent increase in plastic surgery procedures performed between 2012 and 2013. This increase is consistent with a four year growth trend in both surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic treatments.

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the largest increase was seen in eyelid surgery and facelifts. Breast augmentation, particularly with silicone implants, saw an increase as well.
