According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeon (ASPS), of which Los Angeles plastic surgeon Dr. Martin O’Toole is a member, there has been a 114 percent increase in the number of butt lifts performed in the United States since the year 2000. The ASPS reports that there were nearly 3000 butt lifts performed in the US in 2012, many of which were combined with other procedures for post-bariatric body contouring.
