One of the world's biggest secrets is how and why we age. While understanding cellular aging might not result in the creation of a Youth Potion,  it could help scientists and researchers to better fight age-related disorders such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes. New Recommendations for Screening Mammograms by Martin O’Toole MD, Pasadena Cosmetic Surgery

Recently, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (PSTF) published new recommendations for screening mammography in women. Their recommendations are to eliminate screening mammography in women age 40-49 years old unless they fall into a high risk category.  The frequency of screening in women age 50-74 was decreased from annually to every two years.  Previous recommendations were that routine screening for women at average risk for cancer occurs annually beginning at age 40. In addition the Task Force recommended against self breast exam.
